Day 1 of creating Code The Night

Well, this is the first entry for all journals. At the time of typing this I am done with creating a basic content managemnt system that does not require me to use a DB. Its basically a bunch of scripts to create and manage folders and files that organise everything into Projects, Journals and Labs which will act as the base for the whole website. I'm also done with the basic header. There were some theming and design parts that were done way before which I am reusing for this website.

The parts that I'm left with are quiet a bit. My plan is to get all the basic stuff out of the way so that I can at least start officially using this website to track all my tinkerings and other journeys. Parts that I'm left with:

• Finishing up a basic hero section for the landing
• Completing a Now and About page, maybe I might combine them?
• Polishing up all the cards for the entries
• Adding in the pages for projects, journal and lab

Eventually I hope this website evolves into something that is truly a mix of all my 'hobbies' and truly represents who I am.
